Erin & Bill are getting married this July and we couldn’t be more excited to shoot their wedding. For their engagement session we headed over to Bar La Grassa–the location of their blind, first date. It was awesome listening to them talk about that night and how their relationship progressed from there. Erin & Bill are such a great fit for each other and I love how much fun they have together.

Esme goes to the Zoo

We love getting to photograph clients time and time again. This was our third session with Esme and in celebration of her 2nd birthday we went to Como Zoo & Como Town with Esme and her mom. I love watching kids develop their own little personalities and quirks. Esme is super happy and curious. She loves running, wearing sunglasses and, at times, confuses “pull UP your pants” with “pull DOWN your pants.”

Omaha Wedding: Emily & Ben

In early February we traveled to Omaha to shoot Emily & Ben’s wedding. They live in Chicago and had been guests at a wedding we photographed there. We were really honored when they hired us for their wedding–especially when we found out they spent most of their friends’ reception trying to dodge our cameras.

I’m excited to share this wedding because their photos really represent what weddings are all about: family. Emily & Ben were surrounded by tons of family and friends that traveled from all over for their wedding. This tight knit group instantly welcomed us. There were lots of emotional moments but they were always closely followed by hold your belly, laugh out loud moments. It was an emotional wedding and I’m really proud of that we documented it all for Emily & Ben–and their families.

Minneapolis Engagement Session: Chris & Katie

We got together with Katie & Chris for their engagement session during our one week of spring last month. It was a gorgeous day to run around the warehouse district, explore an abandoned building, and play in the park. Katie & Chris are funny, laid back, and they treat each other with such respect & care. It was such a fun Saturday afternoon and I was a little sad when it was all over. At least we have their October wedding to look forward to.

Chris & Molly’s St Paul Wedding

Chris & Molly were married on the coldest (and windiest) day this winter. The weather really didn’t matter because these two were so happy and full of nervous excitement. One of our favorite moments was photographing Chris as he was waiting to see Molly for the first time–such anticipation.

Molly & Chris thank you for having us. We’ve loved getting to know you two over the past year. Here’s to you and years of travel, food, and wine.
