Minneapolis Nicollet Island Pavilion Wedding: Prentice & Brian

We had so much fun photographing Prentice & Brian’s Minneapolis wedding; everything was perfectly memorable. Their first look in their new condo. Prentice’s grandfather as their officiant. Their (insane) dance floor. The flowers…THE FLOWERS!! Every moment was incredible and we couldn’t have been more honored to document it for them. Prentice & Brian, you’re the best! Thank you for making us feel so welcome and for bringing the fun!

Minneapolis Aria Wedding: Nadia & Miguel

Nadia and Miguel have quite possibly the best meet-cute we’ve ever heard. Several years ago, Miguel’s band was playing SXSW and Nadia was in the front row. They locked eyes and the rest, as they say, is history. Romantic, right?

When it came time for their wedding in Nadia’s hometown of Minneapolis they planned a celebration that was a hybrid of Middle Eastern and Mexican traditions. They asked us to get as creative as possible and make a mix of “moody, dreamlike portraits” and “traditional, candid moments of friends and family.”  Challenge accepted!
Nadia & Miguel, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for having us and welcoming us into your circle of family and friends. We’re so proud of the work we made for you–thank you for trusting us!

Milwaukee Art Museum Wedding: Karina & Max

Karina & Max’s wedding day took place in not one but two beautiful venues in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We spent the early parts of the day with them and their families at Villa Terrace which instantly made us feel transported to Italy. When it came time for their ceremony and reception, Karina & Max picked the gorgeous Milwaukee Art Museum.

These two incredible people share a love strongly rooted in friendship and mutual adoration. Max looks at Karina with such tenderness and Karina’s face lights up anytime Max is near. Their families were warm and welcoming and we enjoyed documenting all their little moments throughout the day.

Karina & Max, it was a wedding day we’ll never forget, thank you for having us…and thanks for enthusiastically “doin’ it for the art.”
