Bree & Pat | Minneapolis Aria Wedding

This has been the year of memorable toasts, packed dance floors, and couples who don’t mind a little bit of rain. Bree & Pat’s wedding at Aria was no exception. Friends and family flew in from all over and flooded the dance floor right after their first dance–and the only thing we love more than an exuberant dance floor is making photos in inclimate weather. Bree & Pat, thank you for braving the rain at the end of the night–WORTH IT. We had the best time with you and your friends and family–so happy to have worked with you all!

Sue & Tommy | Minneapolis Aria Wedding

Over the course of the past year, we learned that family means the world to Sue and Tommy so it came as no surprise when they asked us to pay special attention to capturing lots of moments of their nieces and nephews at their wedding. On the day of the wedding, it was so apparent how much they adore their families–and vice versa. Throw in lots of happy, candid moments, a few of our creative/dramatic shots, and a sparkler exit in the rain, and well, you’ve pretty much given us a dream day. Sue & Tommy, thank you so much for having us and for making us feel so welcome!

Abby & Matt | Hayward, Wisconsin Lake Wedding

Abby & Matt’s wedding was pure magic. The two met in Hayward, Wisconsin and discovered their families lived just on opposite sides of the lake. When it came time to plan their wedding, they decided to host a weekend of events for their guests–shuttling them on boats between the two residences. This was one of our favorite weddings this year, not just because it was beautiful and full of moments but because it also posed new challenges for us as photographers: a first look via boat, and a father/daughter processional via boat just to name a few.  Abby & Matt, thank you so much for having us and for giving us the opportunity to stretch our creative muscles!
