Sophie & Aaron’s Minneapolis Engagement Session

SO much flirting, laughing, and cuddling–it’s a good thing these two are marrying each other because they definitely have googly eyes for one another. Sophie & Aaron, we’re so excited for your wedding this fall! See you at Mansion!

Joe & Jen by the Ocean

This is a super special post and we’re so excited to finally be sharing it! Our good friends, and studio mates, got married in Sayulita and brought us along to document the whole thing.  The week was chalk full of poolside parties, zip lining adventures, and shopping excursions all leading up to the wedding day…we were there to photograph every moment. It was a blast getting to know all their friends and family and to see them surrounded by so much love. Joe & Jenna are so good together and their ceremony reflected how much they love to laugh. In between all the laughs there were lots of misty eyes–especially when Joe stole one of our cameras so he could capture Jenna’s expression in the middle of his vows. Doesn’t get much sweeter than that. The day after the wedding, J&J’s friends all assembled for a sunset cruise and an evening of light debauchery. Lastly, two days after the wedding they gave us an entire afternoon for a portrait session. We’ll always remember trolling around in a golf cart listening to Beyoncé, drinking coco frio, and asking them to frolic in the ocean just “one more time.” Joe & Jenna, thank you for a week full of memories! We’re so happy for you guys.

Industrial Bacon Styled Shoot at Machine Shop

Last year, we were fortunate enough to work on this amazing styled shoot inspired by Francis Bacon’s painting “1946” with Gretchen Culver of Rocket Science Events. We were blown away by her gorgeous design, her impeccable attention to detail, and the talented group of vendors she assembled. Over the weekend we, along with Gretchen, were awarded a Minnesota Star Award at the ILEA awards ceremony for Best Table Top. So proud of this work and to be included on such a top-notch team!
